Mr. O’Connor is a Senior Analyst and has primary responsibility for managing the Firm’s European investments in the packaging, leisure and education sectors. He has 10 years of investment experience across high yield bonds, leveraged loans, distressed / special situations, and private credit.
Mr. O’Connor joined Elmwood from ICG, where he was an Associate Director covering the packaging, industrials and leisure sectors for that firm’s syndicated loan and multi-asset credit strategies.
Prior to ICG, he was an Associate in the Principal Finance group at Macquarie, providing flexible primary financing solutions and investing across the capital structure in the secondary market. Mr. O’Connor began his career at Alcentra as an Analyst in the Special Situations team, investing in stressed and distressed credit opportunities.
Mr. O’Connor is a CFA® charterholder and graduated from the University of Oxford in 2015 with an MSc by Research in Engineering Science, and from Havard University in 2012 with an S.B. in Engineering Science.
