Mr. Bloom is a Senior Developer software engineer with a focus on front-end and full-stack development and is responsible for the development and support of Elmwood’s internal user interface applications. He has over 20 years of experience in software development within the financial industry.
Prior to Elmwood, Mr. Bloom was at LibreMax Capital, where he was responsible for supporting and modernizing their own internal user interface applications, providing intraday and historical risk, positions, and market analysis.
Prior to LibreMax, Mr. Bloom was a member of the user interface team at Schonfeld, where he managed an internal task force for targeted UI initiatives and led the development of their internal design component library. Prior to Schonfeld, he was a Vice President at JPMorgan Asset Management and was responsible for the delivery of analytics to the Fixed Income Risk team.
Mr. Bloom graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, MA in 1999 with a B.A. in Theater and English and earned an M.S. in Financial Engineering from CUNY Baruch in New York City in 2009.
